Fishing Lakes

The mature fishing lakes are situated within the beautiful private grounds of the farmhouse. In close walking distance of the cottages, all guests will have exclusive fishing rights to the lakes, but you will need to have a licence.

There are adequate well-spaced fishing spots set around the two lakes, with plenty of space to accommodate the most well equipped fisherman.

The lakes are well stocked with 3 types of carp, tench, golden orfe, rudd and roach. There are many carp weighing between 3 and 10lbs, with the largest now being around 15lbs. This will ensure many hours of varied and exciting fishing.

Guest of holiday cottage tenants are welcome to visti and fish but will be subject to a small charge.
